Halfway River First Nation’s Social Development program services for our Nation are delivered in partnership with federal and provincial governments, ensuring our members have access to the supports they need.
💵 Income Assistance
The income assistance program provides basic financial assistance and active services and social supports to enable individuals and families to improve their life chances and strengthen self-sufficiency and community participation.
👶 National Child Benefit
The National Child Benefit Reinvestment initiative provides complimentary program supports that strengthen the well-being of children and families in our community.
🛡️ Family Violence Prevention
The Family Violence Protection Program is culturally relevant and uses a collaborative approach to enhance programming, ensuring healthy, safe families and sustainable communities.
🏠 Assisted Living
The Social Development Program provides financial support and active services to eligible adults and their dependents who are unable to meet their basic needs.

First Nation communities and agencies actively working together to provide access to community resources and services that support the safe, healthy development of children and youth.
