The HRFN Housing Department's key responsibilities
- Diverse Housing Management: Overseeing various housing types, including old and new rental homes and housing for elderly members.
- Assistance and Development: Facilitating various forms of assistance to support on-reserve housing development.
- Funding and Budgeting: Securing funding and financing for housing projects. Developing sustainable project budgets.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements.
- Policy Development and Enforcement: Developing, implementing, and enforcing housing policies.
- Insurance Management: Managing the HRFN insurance portfolio for all Nation-owned assets.
