HRFN Infra Projects

Halfway River First Nation (HRFN) is considering many construction projects, and several have already begun. Last year, during the 2023 construction season, 8 Tiny Homes were installed on prepared lots throughout the Community, an Arbor and a Kitchen/Bath Building were started, and all roads were paved.

This year, we plan to see the Skating Rink Roof completed, and the new Health Unit started. Other projects we are working on include a Fire Hall, a new Operations and Maintenance Shop and a Campground. HRFN is remotely located approximately 1.5 hours from Fort St. John. The proposed infrastructure will provide access to important resources within the Community.
