Mandate Statement
HRFN ESC has been tasked with the mandate to establish a committee that will steer education initiative for the betterment of members of HRFN. The objectives of the committee are:
- To develop projects that provide education opportunities for community members.
- To encourage and promote life-long learning and celebrate members successes along their journey.
Vision Statement
HRFN Education Steering Committee will create a safe, aspiring environment that enables a person to be able to achieve their greatest potential and have the confidence to accomplish their educational and personal goals that gives them success for today, tomorrow, and always.
Mission Statement
HRFN Education Steering Committee (ESC) empowers and inspires community members to engage in the development of a strong, healthy, and sustainable community by providing:
- Quality Learning Opportunities
- Skillsets Training
- Cultural Awareness and Traditional Training
Other stake holders our education steering committee is in partnership with:
- School District 60: local education agreement (LEA 2020)
- Northern lights college: Centre for innovation in indigenous education working group (CIIE)
Together, we aim to foster a thriving, educated, and culturally enriched community.
