Fire & Emergency Services

Building HRFN’s emergency response capacity β€” protecting lives and property across Halfway River First Nation and neighbouring communities.

πŸ—οΈ Establishing Emergency Services

Halfway River First Nation (HRFN) is proud to have successfully established its Emergency Services Department, providing paramedical and fire fighting services to the Halfway River First Nation and neighbouring communities.

HRFN has completed the construction of its Fire Hall β€” a significant milestone that reflects our Nation’s unwavering commitment to the safety, protection, and well-being of every community member.

πŸ”₯ Training Programs

🌲 Wildland Fire Fighter Training

Wildland Fire Fighter Training has already begun with an impressive turnout of participants within HRFN and the nearby community. Training has focused on fundamental wildland fire suppression techniques.

🏠 Structure Protection Training

Structure protection training is underway. As our Fire Truck is delivered, we will be expanding into Structure Fire Fighter training to further enhance our response capabilities.
